Went for a site visit of The Old Vinyl Factory in Hayes today. I’m going to be producing some installation and performance work with Iconik Sonik, as part of a festival celebrating the history of the factory and the local area.

Ollie is currently writing a Sonic Arts Live Performance patch, or SALI for short. The patch features FX routing and spacialisation for up to 18 channels, and can be controlled with a Kinect camera. It also includes a sampler and additive synthesiser.
I’ve tried it and it’s great.

Recently Ollie wrote a patch for Composer Yuko Ohara, for her composition The Third Dimension. The piece was written for the RMA Student Conference, held on 4th January 2013 at Southampton University. The electronics for the piece combined live recording, playback and delay based effects automatically triggered at time markers throughout the piece.
We’re back! While we’ve been away, we’ve been working on various projects, which we’ll be sharing soon.
We’re also planning new projects for upcoming festivals. Including some iOS applications maybe? Stay tuned…
